The Raitosaikuru Records Era (2014- mid-2016)
Ah, raitosaikuru_records, a pseudolabel for my original 5 pseudonyms…
Being such a fan of the film
TRON:Legacy (2010, Joseph Kosinski)
, I named the label raitosaikuru, a romanization of “ライトサイクル”, which is what Google Translate spits out for “light cycle”.
I was very much still learning my way around making any sort of music during this era. Having never learned an instrument, the whole process was an experiment, front to back. I began this era using free tools and ended with making music for a college course with my first analog synth. I am still quite proud of a lot of the releases from this era. I define this era as all the releases I made between 2014 and mid-2016.
