The noise.horse Era (mid-2016-2019)
The “noise.horse” era began when I started the weblabel noise.horse , a weblabel for experimental music in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan-music scene (generally described as “brony music”). Inspired by the vaporwave weblabel scene, I set out with noise.horse to encourage folks to be more experimental within the generally mainstream friendly brony music scene.
This era had quite a bit going on in it. I was juggling college learning, a full time job, noise.horse work, IRL responsibilies and hobbyist work. I am often surpirsed I managed to get anything released during this time. This era saw my growth with utilizing Ableton Live 9 Intro as my primary tool of production, but I also began to grow my physical gear collection as well. I didn’t make many albums in this era, mostly making singles and compilation apperances. This era ended at the final release of noise.horse on 01/02/20.
